Bermejillo Selenite Specimen 126g

I call this the New Selenite. This is a new discovery of selenite specimens that were accidentlaly found by the locals in the area of Bermejillo, Mexico while looking for water source. They’re very similar to the famous selenites found in Naica, Mexico. Super clear & with beautiful garden landscape, I’m betting this could be the new rival of Naica Selenites! 

Who would have thought that matrix can add so much character to a mineral specimen especially this one. This New Selenite is a two-piece diamond-shaped pieces that interlock like a pair of twins. They're both so icy and water clear that you can see through into the magical garden landscape view provided by the matrix. The lovely striations are simply perfect with a notable key imprint.

Approx 11.5cm x 8cm at 126g.
