Dumortierite Specimen 8.6g & 3cm

Dumortierite is one of the rarest blue stones in the world and was named after a famous French paleontologist & first discovered in ..well..France!

Dumortierites are often white in colour, opaque & mostly found in areas rich with aluminium. Believed to be high vibrational stone that can unlock your third eye chakra & psychic abilities. It is also said to be a stone that calls you to take control of your life.  Also known to be the stone for emotional & spiritual discovery, it's a stone for healers.

They are mostly found as small & tiny points with blue inclusions. The ones that are most sought after are ones that are high clarity with silver blue inclusions that look like beautiful sea-urchins. 

This piece is exceptional because of the size that is larger than most Dumortierites that are small & tiny quartz points. It has twin peaks with another point perched in between the peaks oh so beautifully. It also has so many gorgeous flower like sea urchins that can be clearly seen thanks to the high clarity quartz. Spotted - insane triangle etchings on the body! Self-standing.

Size is approximately 3cm tall by 2cm weighing 8.6g.
