Fishtail Selenite is also known as Angel's Wings. It is believed to help connect with divine energy such as angels/guardians through the Crown Chakra. This stone carries calm, protective & peaceful energy. Fishtail Selenites are incredible specimens with their signature tail formation,spiky edges & etchings! They reflect light so beautifully with their shine, it's so soothing to watch. On a surprise observation, they are UV reactive and are phosphorescent as they glow momentarily after the source of light is removed. We also discovered that all the Fishtail Selenites have a soft blue phantom when torched with UV light!

This is one of the larger pieces that's super clear - it's almost like looking into the depth of icy water. It is a very unique formation with an extra 'tail' growth on the top. Etchings are marvelous with secondary growth on the back & very little matrix that actually shimmers! The blue 'phantom' lines are very distinct once torched in UV light.
