Blue Tara Quartz is a recent find in Brazil and first found in the region of Ipupiara. It is also often known as blue amphibole in the industry. They're sought after for their beautiful blue colour that is soothing & calming. Blue quartz is often associated with throat chakra for ease of communication. The darker Blue Tara & Black Tara are later discovered in Itacambira, Brazil. 

This statement Blue Tara Quartz is a spectacular raw specimen that looks like a heart. It is very rare to find them in this large size & at a whopping weight of approx 572.5g. The points are large and chunky and the blue fibrous tourmaline strands are clear & captivating. 

The front of the specimen showcases the blue fibrous tourmaline inclusion. Interestingly the other side shows many good sized points growth with golden peach hues that could be iron deposits. With online research,we discover this has been loosely referred to as red/peach amphibole. This combo in a blue tara quartz is rare & exquisite!
