Blue Tara Quartz is a recent find in Brazil and first found in the region of Ipupiara. It is also often known as blue amphibole in the industry, but lab results have claimed these fibrous inclusions are of the Tourmaline family. The darker Blue Tara & Black Tara are later discovered in Itacambira, Brazil. 

This statement Tara Quartz is a spectacular large point cluster that is both large and chunky which is uncommon for this material. Part polished, the Tourmaline strands are wispy & cottony with some exposed on the surface. 

This is also an inner child or manifestation quartz with a quartz cluster growing inside. It is amazing that they are coated in red iron, making this an exceptional beauty. The white swirly mineral embracing the large point is likely to be kaolinite but we are unable to confirm this. It makes a beautiful addition to the character of this magnificent piece.
